Hello everyone! It feels like it’s been a while since I’ve properly checked in, so I wanted to share a little update on what’s been happening in my world as we move through 2025. Life, as they say, is what you make it, and I’m happy to report I’m making the most of it!
Work, Life, and Loving Living in the Netherlands
First things first, I’m still happily working away at ISA. Things are going really well, and I’m feeling challenged and fulfilled in my role of Technology Director. It’s always a pleasure to be part of such a dynamic and innovative team.

And speaking of happy places, Kerri, Riley and I are still very much settled in Leiden. I continue to adore this city – its charm, its history, and its vibrant atmosphere. Every day feels like a little adventure, exploring new corners and rediscovering old favourites.
A Milestone and a Conference
March is shaping up to be a particularly exciting month! Not only will I be celebrating a milestone birthday – yes, the big 5-5! – at the end of March, but I’ll also be heading to Frankfurt for the Data in Schools conference. I’m really looking forward to connecting with other professionals in the field, learning about the latest advancements, and sharing insights. It’s a fantastic opportunity for growth and inspiration, and I’m eager to soak it all in. If you’re going to be there, please do reach out!
TRC Connections
My work with the TRC continues to be a real source of energy and connection. It’s so rewarding to be involved in such meaningful work, and it’s an added bonus that it keeps me in close contact with friends and colleagues. These connections are so important, and I cherish the camaraderie and shared passion we have for our work.
Happy Days
So, there you have it – a little snapshot of my life in 2025. In a nutshell, life is good! I’m grateful for my work, my home, my friends, and the opportunities that come my way. I’m happy, healthy, and excited for what the future holds.
